I was asked to try and review MyMemories Suite It is  a wonderful digital scrapbooking software.  In case you have never heard about them here is a little snippet from their site:

My Memories Suite version 2 software is a complete digital scrapbooking solution that provides a powerful set of creative tools and multiple sharing options that no other software can offer. Its intuitive workspace and enhanced time-saving features are perfect for a beginner to build an entire album in minutes, or to empower the design pro to build a scrapbook album masterpiece.

First off the software was easy to download and install on my computer and once installed the user friendly tabs made creating a snap.  On the first night I had so much fun creating pages that I stayed up well past my normal bed time.  But it is just not for scrapbooking pages I was able to create a wonderful digital slideshow with music, this too was a snap and the ability to share this with friends, family and you is all the more reason I am knocked out by the software. 

I also like that there are numerous designs that you can download along with embellishments, and paper this gives you a variety to display your precious photos to mark those unique occasions.

Good Job Shean...i enjoyed the slideshow...its neat seeing all the black n white pictures of a family so long ago...to think that time was once in existence as today will be just another black n white picture years from now...Personally i like the "Coffee Time" Quick Page...of course, me and coffee...go hand in hand. :) keep up the good work.

Into Waters Unknown-January Edition Happy Homemaker Tag Swap

So a new year begins and with it comes the possibility of what can be achieved this time.   Goals to be meet creative idea to exchange and aspire to.  So I begin this year with open eyes, heart and with my soul outstretched to let the light shine in.  I have joined a Tag Swap hosted by one of the very first blogs I read when I began my journey into the craft realm, Elizabeth of Bluebird Papercrafts with her gift for storytelling, vintage take on crafts has inspired me so much.  Each month I will try my hand at a new tag to reflect my take on the months, but also a reflection of the journey I am taking.  The rules are to purchase once a set of paper then use that and whatever you have on hand throughout the year. A Rose By Any Other Name: February’s Happy Homemaker Tag Along

Having the last name of Valentine, February can be either a curse or a blessing.   Growing up my mother made this month even more exciting than Christmas, she would say “This is our month. We are true Valentine’s we are so special we have a day name for us.”   So I grew up looking forward to February 14 th or as I like to call ME DAY, she would shower us with handmade candy, cards, presents and a special dinner.   When I went to school I carried my handmade Valentine’s along with candy to class, with a song in my heart I looked forwarded to the excitement of a day filled with warm hugs.   The only down side was that everyone is class would come up to me and ask how do you spell Valentine after a while I just told them to bring me what they were working on and I would write it.
